Warmest aloha from Grace Community Church, an Evangelical Free Church. We are committed to the proclamation of the Gospel and to the authority of Scriptures as the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and practice. We are located on Palani Road in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. (map)
Join us this morning for part five in our eight-part series called, "Resilient Joy". We continue our journey through the book of Philippians as we witness the prisoner Paul being an encouragement to the young church in Philippi. Despite his imprisonment, and the crazy world they lived in, he found a remarkable ability to rejoice.

The Elders will be conducting a ten-part Sunday morning Equipping time. We will take a look at Evangelical Convictions as we cover the ten most important doctrines to our faith. We hope to begin next Sunday (15th), from 8:30-9:45 AM. For more information, email Gary Summers.
The Elders will be meeting this Wednesday, from 4:30 to 6 PM.
We invite all of you to join us for the Pregnancy Center Gala on November 4th, from 3-5 PM. It will be held at the Hilton Resort. Grace Community Church has supported this ministry for the last twenty years. We hope you can take the time to come alongside us and join in celebrating this community outreach ministry.
Harvest Festival is back and just a few weeks away! We need help to make this a great event for our keiki, here at Grace and those in the community, who will be joining us. Sign up sheets are at the connection tent and include everything from bringing chili for our chili cook off, chili judges, hosting a game booth, set up, break down, and donations. Saturday, October 28, 5-7 PM. Candy donations are being accepted over the next two Sundays. If you have questions, email Rachel.
Are you looking for a way to connect with others and grow deeper in your spiritual life? If so, we would like to help connect you with a Life Group. These are groups of 6 to 12 people who meet in homes on different nights of the week for the purpose of caring, praying, studying and fellowship. There might be room in one of our current groups or we can start a new group. For further information email Kim Trester.
Saturday, Oct 21, 8:30am - 12:30pm Jesus said “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28. We invite our men and women to our Silent Retreat. This will be a time to focus on your relationship with Jesus, a time to soak in the Word and ask Jesus to reveal fresh insight to you and a time to bring your cares and concerns to Jesus feet and rest in the knowledge that He cares for you and will help you.
Saturday Night Service:
Alex Dong will be taking us on "The 18-inch Journey" this Saturday. This five-part series begins with the message, "Who Is God?" Join us for worship at 6 PM.
