Looking for some extra support to cover an extra hurt? The Elders are meeting for prayer this Wednesday, from 4:30-6 PM (James 5:14).
High School meets Sunday evenings at 6 to 8 pm. Middle School meets Friday evenings at 6 to 7:30 pm. Both groups meet at the church. Middle and High School youth have their own Sunday school meetings during the 10 am service, and are dismissed to class after corporate singing. On the first Sunday of each month the youth do not have Sunday School to celebrate communion in church.
Christmas Eve Celebration:
We will be combining our two services on December 24. The Christmas Eve Candlelight service will be our only service that weekend. There will be no Sunday morning service on December 25. Tell a friend, bring a friend!
Celebration of Life:
Join Les and Barb, here at the church, this Saturday at 11am to honor and celebrate the life of their sweet daughter Holly. Lunch will be served following the service.
Theology 301 Grads
Congrats to those who just recently completed our "Evangelical Convictions" class. They are Mark Master, Tim Rude, Tonya Rude, Jill Ruiz, Peter Miley, Mike Gallardo, and Dawn Gallardo.
Our local Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to ring bells for their annual Red Kettle Fund Drive which runs from November 12 to December 24. If you are interested in attending the kickoff on Friday, November 18 between 8 and 10 am at the Sheraton Kona Resort, please contact Lisa Mabuni.
Save the date. We will be holding our annual "Steak Retreat", complete with breakfast, time in the Word, horseshoes, great lunch barbeque, Frisbee golf and a football playoff game on January 14th. It will be from 8AM to 1PM.
